Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt on their most memorable piece of advice from Quentin Tarantino
Ahead of Quentin Tarantino’s ninth movie dropping next week, Radio 1's Film Critic Ali Plumb sat down with Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie to get the lowdown on Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
It has already smashed records to become the most successful opening weekend for a Tarantino film in the U.S., and Ali wanted to get to the bottom of what the Oscar-winning director is looking for behind the camera.
He asked the trio for their most memorable piece of Tarantino direction, because he wanted to know if they had received "a genius" from the man himself.
Leo cut to the chase and said: "No, I heard a 'Just f****** do it!'".
Brad said his favourite Quentin direction was when he asked the legendary filmmaker "was that too big?", to which he got the response: "You can’t go too big on my set".
So there you have it, just do it – and go big while you're at it.

For the uninitiated, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is set during the golden age of Hollywood and follows former western star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), who both realise they are losing touch with an industry they barely recognise anymore. But when Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie) moves next door to Dalton with her husband, director Roman Polanski, he starts to plot how he can use this to his advantage.
Leo sums the film up as Tarantino's "love letter to the industry", one that could potentially be his penultimate film (if he sticks to his long-standing claim that he will retire after making 10 films).
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood will be released in the UK on Wednesday 14 August - watch the full trailer below.
